About Me
Hi! My name is Carson Angeli. I’ve been fly fishing for over a decade — and I’m obsessed with understanding why fish eat.
I’ve competed at a high level, spent years refining my approach on pressured trout, and helped anglers from complete beginners to advanced fishermen gain real confidence on the water.
But here’s what matters most:
I don’t teach random tips.
I teach decision-making.
I’ve been on the USA Youth Fly Fishing Team for three years. I’ve guided, competed, filmed for YouTube for 8+ years, and studied trout behavior under pressure. That experience forced me to stop guessing and start fishing with intention.
When I coach someone, I don’t just show them what to do. I help them understand why it works — so they can adapt anywhere.
If you’ve ever:
-
Felt like you’re fishing hard but not catching enough
-
Wondered why others seem to consistently outfish you
-
Wanted clarity instead of confusion on the river
That’s exactly what I help fix.
My goal isn’t just to help you catch a few fish.
It’s to help you think like a high-level angler — so you can catch fish consistently, anywhere you go.
No ego. No secrets. Just clear strategy that works.
If you’re serious about improving, I’m serious about helping you.
What You’ll Get Out of This
You won’t just leave with information.
You’ll leave with clarity.
After working with me, you’ll understand:
-
Where trout actually hold — and why
-
How to choose the right water quickly
-
How to control depth and drift with intention
-
How to detect subtle takes most anglers miss
-
When to adjust — and when to stay put
You’ll stop second-guessing every decision on the river.
Instead of wondering, “Am I doing this right?”
You’ll know.
You’ll fish with more confidence.
You’ll waste less time.
And most importantly — you’ll catch more fish consistently.
This isn’t about magic flies or shortcuts.
It’s about building the skill set that makes you dangerous on any stretch of water.
If you put in the effort, I’ll give you the understanding.
And once you truly understand what’s happening beneath the surface, fly fishing becomes predictable — not frustrating.
